Halloween is meant to be fun and above all it is meant to scare, especially with the help of animated Halloween props ! Well that is what this lens is going to be about! I love Halloween, I think I can honestly say it is my favorite holiday. We are going to look into some of the very best Halloween decorations you can buy. I know so many people say you can make the same types of things. Well I for one, don't have that type of time. Especially around the holidays if you know what I mean. Anyway turn down the lights, lock all the doors and get ready to SCREAM!

Why Use Animated Halloween Props?

If you have never used animated Halloween props before, well you are in for a treat and the kids are in for a trick! They are simply the most fun you can have at Halloween. There are some such as this witch that are meant for giggles and fun! However there are the more sinister Halloween props such as this zombie that will give you goosebumps and send chills down your spine.

So why should you go out and pay for decorations that you could just as easily make in the home. Well to be honest as easy as some of these props look to make they can become very complicated. I know before I started to buy my Halloween props I would make them. I would do a search online and find some really cool looking props that I knew would look great in my yard. However it always took twice as long as I wanted and never came out half as good as I thought it would.

Well one day I noticed that the decorations at my local store were becoming more realistic and a heck of a lot more animated. Well I bought a few witches and skeletons, added some spider-webs a little fog and some scarey music and my house was hit!.. I only spent an hour in the store and maybe the weekend working on the house. I was ecstatic! I could actually sit back and enjoy the rest of the Halloween season.

Well after that season past I knew I would have to get bigger and better for the next year so (and don't laugh) I started to prepare for the next Halloween. I went online and found some sites that sold really great animated Halloween props. These things looked really life like and some of them were downright scarey! I knew I would have a killer (no pun intended) house!

Just how scarey should your animated Halloween props be?

Well it basically comes down to a personal decision as to just how scarey you want your yard to be. You may need to insert a little common sense here and think about your neighborhood for a minute. If you have a majority of little tykes running around you may want to take it easy with the severed heads and blood! However if you have the older ones coming around well game on! In my book anything is fair game, and if I can scare a teenager out of their wits my Halloween was a success. :)

Also don't think for a minute that you have to spray your house down with blood and become very graphic either. Think back to some of the greatest horror movies that scared you. Remember Jaws, Psycho, neither one of these was ultra graphic. However they managed to scare the pants off of just about anyone who watched them. So take that as a lesson early on that you really don't have to go hog wild with decorations. As you will learn it is all about the presentation.

While we have been talking about how to scare kids and people to death, you also have another option. Why don't you try to make them laugh instead? Halloween can be a great time to bring out the dark humor or just plain and simple slapstick. We will look into a few ways to do that and keep everyone happy.
